配方说明：	Pentobarbital Elixir
配方组成：	Water/q.s. ad 1000 ml Sweet Orange Peel Tincture, USP/30 ml Diluted Hydrochloric Acid, NF/6 ml Ethanol, USP/200 ml Caramel, NF/2 g Pentobarbital Sodium, USP/4 g "Sorbo" Sorbitol Solution, USP/600 ml Propylene Glycol, USP/100 ml
配制方法：	Dissolve the pentobarbital sodium in 60 ml of water, then add the "Sorbo," ethanol, propylene glycol, sweet orange peel tincture, and caramel. Mix thoroughly, and add the hydrochloric acid and sufficient water to make the total volume 1000 ml. Mix well, and filter if desirable. This elixir remains clear at 25C and at 4C. The pH is 4.6 to 4.8, and there is no need to add preservative. The pentobarbital content is similar to that of the official preparation.
