配制方法: Agar should be uniformly sprinkled into the mix at not more than 0.25%. the heat of the cooking and pasteurization process will be sufficient to solubilize the agar, and on cooling the mix will set to a firm gel.
A more uniform dispersion of the agar in the mix may be accomplished by adding the agar in the form of a solution. A 5% solution may be prepared by boiling for 1/2 hour. This solution should be kept hot (160F) to avoid gelling. (If it should gel, it may be remelted by heating). This hot solution should be added with good mixing to the hot pet food just before the pasteurization process and at no more than 5 parts of gum solution to 100 parts of mix.
