帕米膦酸二钠（Pamidronate disodium）为第二代的二膦酸盐类药物，其作用强度约为依替膦酸钠的100倍。其药理作用为：①广泛分布在骨小梁表面，阻挡破骨细胞对骨的溶解；②抑制破骨细胞活性；③抑制破骨细胞前体向破骨细胞转化。对骨质的吸收具有十分显著的抑制作用，对癌症的溶骨性骨转移所致的疼痛有止痛作用。动物实验表明，本品给药后迅速从循环系统消除，主要分布在骨骼、肝脏、睥脏和气管软骨中。本品可长期滞留于骨组织中。
