毒性

常温下HDTMPA为白色结晶性粉末,微溶于水,其溶解度在室温下小于5%。 HDTMPA能抑制各种水垢(如碳酸钙垢、硫酸钙垢、硫酸钡垢和氧化铁垢等)的生成，但在水处理中主要用来阻抑硫酸钙和硫酸钡垢。在各种有机膦酸中，其阻硫酸钙垢的性能好，不仅阻垢率高，有效时间长，因此特别适用于油田的挤压处理中。HDTMPA也可用于锅炉水处理中。
