五、性状：无色或白色结晶性粉末，易潮解，有咸味。1mol/l水溶液pH值为7.0-9.0。相对密度（d₄²⁵）1.570, 熔点292℃, 极易溶于水(235g/100mL, 20℃; 492g/100mL, 62℃)、乙醇(33g/100mL)和甲醇(24.24g/100mL, 15℃)，不溶于乙醚和丙酮。

六、用途：缓冲剂、中和剂、防腐剂、护色剂（动植物天然色保护剂）和脱水剂。

七、包装：内衬聚乙烯塑料袋，外套复合塑料编织袋包装，每袋净重25kg。

八、贮存与运输：本品应贮存在干燥通风清洁的库房中，装载运输时要轻装轻放，防止包装破损，防止受潮、受热，运输过程中防止雨淋受潮，应与有毒物品隔离。

5、Character: It is white crystalline powder. It’s easily deliquescent tastes salty. PH value of 1mol/L aqueous solution is 7.0-9.0. Relative density（d₄²⁵） is 1.570. Melting point is 292℃. It’s highly soluble in water (235g/100mL, 20℃; 492g/100mL, 62℃), ethanol (33g/100mL) methanol (24.24g/100mL, 15℃), but insoluble in ether. 

6、Usage: It is used as buffering agent, neutralizer, preservative and colfixative to

protect natural colors of animals plants.

7、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.

8、Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
