五、性状：无色透明结晶或颗粒状结晶粉末，略有特殊气味。一水盐为无色晶体，具有吸湿性。溶于水和乙醇。

六、用途：丙酸钠对人体几乎无毒性。用作食品保鲜剂，适于糕点中作防腐剂和面包防中作霉剂。在化妆品中使用最大允许浓度为2%(以丙酸计)。

七、包装：内衬聚乙烯塑料袋，外套复合塑料编织袋包装，每袋净重25kg。

八、贮存与运输：贮存在通风清洁库房中，装载运输时要轻装轻放，防止破损，防止受潮、受热，运输过程中防止雨淋受潮，应与有毒物品隔离。

5. Character: It is colorless transparent crystal granular crystalline powder, slight odorous. The

monohydrate salt is a colorless hygroscopic crystal. It is soluble in water ethanol.

6. Usage: Sodium propionate is hardly toxic fhumans. It’s used as a food preservative, suitable as     

preservative in pastry mildew preventive in bread. The maximum allowable concentration is 2% in cosmetic (as propionic acid).

7、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, a compound plastic woven bag as outer

layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.

8、Storage Transport: It should be stored in a dry ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat

   moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored

separately from poisonous substances.
